Committees & Programs
JOIN A COMMITTEE TODAY!!!
Jewels of Islam Program – This is a comprehensive
program with a focus on Muslim women fifty years and
older. It is the only Muslim all volunteer operated senior
program in Philadelphia and in the state and the only group
for Muslim seniors in the country. Meetings occur the 2nd
Sunday of each month @ 2pm.
Vanguard Program – This is a comprehensive program
with a focus on Muslim men fifty years and older.
Health & Human Services Program – This program
provides social services to individuals and families. It
provides a multitude of services such as, but not limited to,
utility bill payment assistance, transportation, clothing, food,
emergency assistance and aid to the sick. They also
provide free medical screening and testing to the
community. Meetings occur the 3rd Friday of each month.
Membership Committee - This committee is responsible
for the building and maintenance of membership and
planning membership goals and activities to meet these
goals. Meetings occur the 3rd Friday of each month.
Eid Committee - This committee is responsible for
coordination of events and celebrations for Eidul Fitr and
Eidul Ad’ha. These celebrations are the two main Islamic
holidays celebrated by Muslims every year.
Masjidullah Youth Committee (MYC) – This committee
serves as a vehicle for fostering the constructive Islamic
growth and development for Muslim youth (ages 13 – 35) in
particular, and all youth in general. The program enables
the youth to become better prepared to assume leadership
roles within and outside the community. It offers an Islamic
atmosphere while providing quality services to youth in the
community, in hopes of expanding our inner faith and
